This guard is designed to protect your front box wiring loom (Mk4-5) from electrical failure resulting from stones and debris - A must for all Mk4-5!
 
This guard can be used universally and offers good protection from stone damage to plumbing and electrical on multiple Track and non-Track vans.
 
Common Fault Mk4-5 Tvan – Stones sit against the top of the loom (wedged against chassis) that is exposed beneath the front box. As they wear through the insulation this leads to short circuit. Due to the electrical design of Mk4-5 Tvan the auto-resetting circuit breaker continues (on and off) to supply power until the circuit breaker fails. This leads to extensive loom damage and can be difficult and costly to repair.
 
Manufactured from 350MPa steel and zinc plated.
