Cracking - Common Fault
 
Occurs in the lower leading edge of Mk4-5 front boxes between the stone guard and gas bottle tray. This fault often stems from and/or is exacerbated by stone damage to the exposed vertical front wall of later model front boxes. This leads to water and dust ingress. This patch panel is manufactured from 2mm stainless steel and covers the damage aesthetically, supports sealant for a quick and simple repair whilst providing long term protection to the exposed section of panel.
